About
I received my Clinical Psychology Ph.D. from The City University of New York.
I completed postdoctoral training at Mt. Sinai West’s Addiction Institute and pre-doctoral training at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital.
I speak English, Portuguese and French.
I welcome individuals from all backgrounds who wish to explore any aspect of their experience in a safe and productive environment. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory and I have training in evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. How I work with individuals depends on their situation, interests, and strengths. I attempt to create space for people to explore their wishes, relationships, personal and family history, culture, and goals.
I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York and an MA in Developmental Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University.
I completed my Post-Doctoral training at Mount Sinai West’s Addiction Institute. I have also trained at the Baruch College Counseling Center, at City College’s Psychological Center, and in the Sao Joao de Deus Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
